How does nootify_me access my AWS billing data?
nootify_me uses a secure, read-only IAM role that you create in your AWS account. This role only has permissions to access billing and cost data, not your actual AWS resources.
Is my AWS account information secure?
Yes, we take security seriously. nootify_me uses industry-standard encryption for all data at rest. We never store your AWS credentials, only the Resource Name (ARN)
How accurate are the cost estimates?
nootify_me pulls data directly from the AWS Cost Explorer API, so the information is as accurate as what AWS provides. We update this data daily, however in the future we will update this data up to hourly depending on user interest.
Will I incur in any additional costs with AWS?
Yes, last we checked evey API call with AWS costs $0.01 usd (~$0.30 usd per month) which will be charged to your AWS account. We recommend you check the AWS Cost Explorer API pricing documentation for more information.
What cloud providers do you support?
Currently, nootify_me supports AWS. We're actively working on adding support for Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and other major cloud providers in the near future.
